Spikey's maritime adventure: aftermath

Of course, you knew this would be the final outcome. Spikey dealt with the problem in the finest traditions of the Silent Service.

So, Spikey decided to treat herself to a victory meal at The Fish Market, a nice restaurant on tuna harbor. Since Spikey is Spikey, they gave her a table with a good view.

Spikey says you just never know what you will see in San Diego harbor. In the distance is the Californian, a revenue clipper, seen under the bow of the Midway.

Spikey decided to do some sailing.

Of course, Spikey has to drive.

Spikey's ship was the Surprise, the ship used to make Master & Commander.

But there was trouble out there. Spikey saw a foreign ship.

Spikey quickly identified the problem as a Russian Kilo class submarine. Cannons wouldn't work, so Spikey organized a boarding party.

Spikey quickly swings on board.

A little more complicated than Spikey originally thought.

SPIKEY AND KONO'S

Spikey ate scrambled egss and cheese potatoes and peppers and bacon all mixed together. Then Spikey had to go to the bathroom and went to the new ones at the lifeguard station BUT THEY HAD NOT OPENED YET FOR THE DAY. Oh, I waited and waited and finally the lady who was cleaning them came out and asked if I was waiting for them to open. I said yes so she let me in.

LIVE BLOGGING FROM THE AIRPORT

Hi, this is Spikey fromt he airport. The plane is here and I hope we will be getting on soon.

We had to enter a witness protection program. Don't worry about us.

Friday is our dog here in this place - well, actually, he is his own dog. He was a screen saver on a friend's computer for a long time - and then a new computer came and the background was blue. But all this time Friday stayed nice and warm in the hard drive and now he is going to romp in our meadows.

This is my good friend Spoofie. She likes the beach in San Diego. We eat breakfast at Kono's and then go sit on the beach by lifeguard 22.

This is California LemonHead. She is the spiritual and moral resident out in the California Colony. She tries to keep everyone on the up and up . . . but sometimes she has a lot of beach parties and rides a motorcycle. She likes to sit out on the balcony.

This is our buddy Grover. He sometimes visits in the heartland and sometimes stays in California. A lot of the time he hangs out with his friends, Ernie and Bert. He waits tables in some of San Diego's finest restaurants.
