HIGH COUNTRY MEADOW

VISITOR

We got word this morning that a guy from the WPP is going to come and see how we are doing and if we need anything. So if anyone has a problem with government officials, don't show up today until you see the all clear flag. We have left a cooler of bearbeer and chips down in the grove if anyone has to spend some time waiting for the coast to clear.

At first a guy came and said we are living pretty high on the tax hog, but we told him he should come often to check on us and eat and drink and do paperwork on the deck in the summer, by the fire in winter. It's cool . . . and we have pictures of him in the hot tub if there is a need.

Jake and WPP man have made their peace - it helped that Jake gave him a piece of the action. Now they stay up late together watching gangster movies. "Sound of Music" came on and they both almost barfed. That sealed the bond.

We have a picture of Jake and WPP man together, in case either one of them gets ideas.

Oh, WPP man has brought us some things seized in drug searches - a plane, a yacht, cars. He's an okay guy. Sometimes he walks through the meadow with Spoofie on his shoulders. He likes us. We are kind of like one big happy family. He says, if we ever get out of danger, he will find something else for us to witness.
