After pounding my head against the wall waiting for my West Coast contractor to start on the new cave dwelling, I knew I needed some time away, so I decided to follow some of my mates out here who were following the searchlight beam up to High Country Meadow. Gee, it is nice here.
The house is actually tucked away in pine trees at the edge of the meadow and is undetectable by aerial reconnaissance. Since getting here, we have spent a lot of time digging into a huge vat of iced sodas and relaxing to music. UnSpike sure knows how to make a bear feel comfy.
The other bear visitors and I are going to see if she will let us show a picture of the gathering room. It is so cool . . . and if it gets too cool, there is a big fireplace.
Oops, got to get another drink and see about some more salmon chips.
